Bromeliad Neoregelia 'Cotton Candy'

It was the pink that caught my eye when I first spotted this plant. Isn’t it pretty?! It does remind me of cotton candy from my childhood, and I love the pink in the leaves between the green. So cool!

The Cotton Candy is a hybrid bromeliad with bright, almost neon pink colors. The outer leaves are a medium green with lighter green and pale pink streaks in them. The center leaves are a bright soft pink.

Like other colorful bromeliads, the plant needs to receive plenty of bright filtered light in order to keep it’s brilliant color. Filtered light is best, as direct sun can cause the leaves to burn. This plant will also do well in shady areas with less light, but the pink color won’t be quite as bright.
